Before autofill

Autofill uses questionnaire answers to populate supported IMM forms. It is a preparation step, not a substitute for legal and factual review.
  1. Complete and review the questionnaire.
  2. Resolve validation errors and missing required fields.
  3. Confirm the case type and target form are correct.
  4. Run Autofill from the case’s forms workflow.

Review generated documents

After generation, open the output and compare it against the source questionnaire and supporting documents. Check names, dates, addresses, family members, employment history, and any fields that require application-specific interpretation before filing.

Schedule A for eligible open work permits

For an applicant age 18 or older, VisaFlo can include IMM 5669 (Schedule A) when the work permit or work permit extension is based on an eligible spousal or partner permanent-residence sponsorship application. The questionnaire asks whether the open work permit is PR-supported and collects the additional background information needed for that form. Confirm the sponsorship basis and the applicant’s age before relying on the generated form. Review all Schedule A history and declarations against the source information before filing.

Troubleshooting

If Autofill is unavailable or fails, first review the questionnaire for incomplete required data and confirm that the selected form is supported for the case workflow. If a generated document does not open or appears incomplete, do not file it; review the case and regenerate only after correcting the source data.
